Many companies and organizations have policies in place regarding diversity. Of course, discrimination on the job is illegal. But many organizations take it a step further. For example, the National Football League’s hiring policy, referred to as the Rooney Rule, states that each team must interview a minority candidate when filling a head coaching position. Some people agree with this policy, while others don’t. What do you think? Does this policy promote diversity? Or is the policy, as some people claim, inadvertently racist?
