2.03 Instructing
Instructing is the process of actually giving verbal or written instructions to employees. For example, imagine you work at a clothing store. When your boss asks you to fold clothes in the warehouse, you are receiving instructions. Managers should keep instructions clear and concise. It is helpful to have a system in place so employees know how they will receive instructions. Managers should be prepared to offer help and support, answer questions, and solve problems that come up as they instruct employees.
