The staffing function ensures that a business has the right people working in the right job positions at the right times. It’s a critical part of management because it keeps the organization running at its greatest level of efficiency and productivity. The staffing process includes determining need, recruiting, screening, interviewing, selecting, onboarding, training and developing, and developing compensation plans.
