ONLINE EXPECTATIONS

Wake up early. Log on a few minutes before class
Find a quiet place. Check your surroundings
Computer is charged. Camera is on (if you wish). Use headphones if you have them.
Wear appropriate clothing. Sit up straight. Be in camera view.
Mute yourself, when your teacher or another student is talking.
Be focused. Be attentive. Be an active participant.
Raise your hand to speak. Type your question in the chat box.
Speak Clearly. Look up when speaking. Stay on Topic.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Be kind. Be considerate.
Be prepared: arriving to class each day with the mindset to learn and the materials needed: pencil, notebook, binder and homework.
NO sleeping, NO talking to neighboring students, NO use of cell phones – obviously NO TEXTING (You still must participate in class in order to understand the math concepts.)

Discipline is another major area of concern. It is imperative that your behavior does not become disruptive. I will be following the discipline plan in the student handbook. You will need to review it thoroughly with your parents. Note: Any Steps may be skipped as needed!!
Consequences

1^st time – Teacher-Student Conference and/or learning center detention

2^nd time – Parent-Teacher conference and/or learning center detention

3^rd time – Teacher-Student-Parent conference

4^th time – Office referral

Note: Any steps may be skipped as needed!! Severe offenders will be referred directly to the office.
