Video: Creating a Manual Course and Importing the PSRC Template

To Create a Manual Course in Canvas (Make sure you selected the RED ICON for Canvas)

*A manually created course will NEVER connect/sync to PowerTeacher Pro Gradebook.

Click the gray button on the right Start a New Course.
Type the Course Name.
Content License: Private (Copyrighted) - default setting - Do Not check mark
Click Create Course (blue button).
The course should now appear on the Dashboard.

**If you have a course already in Canvas, you have the ability to copy it.

Importing the PSRC Template

Click on the left blue toolbar, Commons.
Click on the top blue toolbar, Search and type in PSRC Homepage Template.
Click on the template.
- On the right side, checkmark the course you created in Step 2.
- Click on the Import/Download (blue button). (Jump out box to select course with checkmark)
- Import into Course (blue button). *it could take several minutes to import
- Click on the Dashboard.

**If you have a course already in Canvas, you have the ability to copy it.
